The Emperor: Acts as the King and head of state of the whole Empire with a lifelong term. Has absolute power over Scorvidia and all its territories. Is the head of the Imperial Council and must sign off on new laws. The title of Emperor/Empress is not hereditary- the heir to the throne is the Duke of Kakks, whom the Emperor appoints.
The Duke of Kakks: Second in line to the throne and head of government of the Duchy of Kakks. The Duke's role includes administrative responsibilities in Kakks, membership of the Imperial Council and chief adviser to the Emperor.
The Scorvidian Imperial Council: The Imperial Council is led by HGM the Emperor and also includes the Duke of Kakks, the Prime Minister, the First Ministers and the Governors of Scorvidia. The Council reviews and discusses legislation passed by Parliament, although it must be signed off by the Emperor before it is incorporated into law. Members of the Council also act as advisers to HGM.
The Scorvidian Imperial Parliament: The Imperial Parliament of Scorvidia is occupied by 30 MIPs. Parliament votes on legislature before it is passed to the Imperial Council.
The Prime Minister: Acts as the head of government of the whole Empire and represents all of Scorvidia in Parliament. Must be the leader of the largest party in Parliament. May introduce any topics of discussion in Parliament and is also a member of the Imperial Council.
The First Ministers: Act as the heads of government of their respective nations within the Empire. Have some powers within their countries that do not require consultation with the Emperor or Parliament. The First Ministers are appointed by the Emperor and are also members of the Imperial Council.
Governors: Act as the heads of governments and representatives of the smaller Scorvidian territories within the Empire. Appointed by the Emperor. Have certain powers within their territories that can be taken out without consulting Parliament but must always consult the Emperor.
The Cabinet: The cabinet includes the Prime Minister and the heads of the eleven government departments who are appointed by the Prime Minister from his party's MIPs. The twelve members of the cabinet discuss issues to do with each member's department.
Members of the Imperial Parliament: Elected through a proportional representation electoral system every five years. A party needs 16 seats in Parliament to form a government. The leader of the largest party in Parliament is the Prime Minister by default.
The Nobility: Dukes, Duchesses, Counts, Countesses, Barons, Baronesses, Lords, Ladies, Knights and Dames. The Nobility, apart from the Duke of Kakks, have no power in government but play a symbolic role within their nations and are gifted their titles by the Emperor.
The Electorate: All citizens can vote in general elections and referendums.
