History of Eastern Kollme

Eastern Kollme was initially part of Greater Kollme within the UK before Scorvidia claimed independence in August 2017. In January 2016, Kollme was split into East and West and only the West part seceded from the UK. 

For just under a year, Greater Tolve remained the capital of Scorvidia and the economic hub of the Empire while a campaign in both West and East Kollme called for a 'United Kollme' within the Empire. With pressure from Britain in early 2018 for HGM to return the nation of Tolve to the UK, the Emperor sought to make a trade: Tolve for Eastern Kollme. 

This prompted a smaller, less successful campaign called 'Keep Tolve Scorvidian' within the capital which gained few supporters. So, in July 2018, Kollme was reunited as Greater Kollme and Tolve was reluctantly handed back to the United Kingdom. Eastern Kollme replaced Tolve as the capital of the Empire with six of the ten government departments moving there. Upon its entrance into the Empire, Eastern Kollme received the blue on white saltire flag with the Kollmian lion in the middle, representing this new era of unity in Kollme.
